When Coheleach is discussing subject matter, a big cat is almost always in the offing, and cat families are invariably popular. To make this family different from others, Coheleach chose to depict the mother as a cat barely into adulthood herself. Aside from the very young, feminine appearance of her face, there are other, subtle differences as well. "This is a young mountain lion with her first brood. She still has the fuzziness on her face and a very, very slight hint of some of the spots from kittenhood." The print sold out, almost immediately.
